Fatah: Mursi invites Abbas to meet over reconciliation

President Mahmoud Abbas received a formal invitation to meet his Egyptian counterpart Muhammad Mursi in Cairo next week, a Fatah official said Wednesday.

The meeting will focus on reconciliation between Abbas' Fatah party and their Hamas rivals, Fatah official Faysel Abu Shahla told Ma'an.

Fatah welcomes the invitation to resume the reconciliation dialogue, he said.

Despite signing a number of agreements to reconcile, Fatah and Hamas still run separate governments in the West Bank and Gaza. They split amid violent fighting in 2007.

Israel's Violence on Palestenians

Right to Defend itself

Israel has always cried 'holocaust' tears to the world while singing the old tune of "Defending itself and its citizens". How do they do it? By banning or killing international journalists by bribing their supportive governments. Palestine is destroyed as a State so is Gaza. Meanwhile the "chronically suffering Israel" has developed to a point it does not need Uncle Sam anymore, see their infrastructure, see their military development up to nuclear programs... and they are the eternal "poor" in need. -- --
